WHO – WORLD HEALTH ORGANISATION

The headquarters of the World Health Organisation was built with the financial support of the Confederation and State of Geneva, at a time when the FIPOI did not yet exist (1957).
With the aim of giving all people the best level of health possible, the WHO helps governments reinforce their health systems and puts in place programs which fight against some illnesses such as tuberculosis, malaria or AIDS.
