Real Estate management

In the framework of its mission which consists in facilitating the arrival and work of IOs and NGOs in Geneva, the FIPOI looks for buildings and sites for international and non-governmental organisations who wish to establish themselves or expand in the canton.

The FIPOIcarries out maintenance and upkeep work on the buildings for which it is responsible. The work requires specific knowledge and important work is sub-contracted to local businesses.

Operational, maintenance and upkeep costs for the buildings are covered by the rent paid by the International Organisations.

The rental costs of the International Organisations applying to the William Rappard Room and the International Conference Centre, Geneva, are partially paid by the Swiss Confederation as a donation.
